Imagine the classic vibrating rubber duck, change the colour and tart it up a bit. Hey presto, you've created a designer "I Rub My Duckie"!

The nice folks at LoveHoney sent over a box of tricks this week for us. The first to review is the PowerWand Mini Vibe.

This is what they had to say about the vibe:
Hey presto, it's an orgasm! The LoveHoney Power Wand will cast an orgasmic spell over you with 7 speeds and patterns of powerful (really powerful!) vibration, packed into just 5 inches!
Made of a super-smooth soft-touch skin-safe material, the Power Wand is versatile, easy to use and and blessed with great looks, too!
Use it for all over massage, clitoral stimulation, with your partner or solo - the possibilities are endless!
The two one-touch buttons in the base mean you control both the settings and the speeds with one hand - which one of the 7 speeds and patterns will become your favourite?
Modes runs from gentle pulses to powerful waves of vibration - whatever suits your mood.

Magma Toys have launched an innovative new vibrator called the Pheonix. It's innovative because it uses the same technology as the hand warmers you see advertised during winter. You know the one's: you click a pad inside the warmer and it turns from a cold liquid into a warm solid mass:

The hand warmers can also be used as a massager, especially for relaxing tense back muscles.
Anyway, Magma Toys have taken this technology and applied it to a vibrator.

The phrase "reduce, reuse and recycle" has been used in Britain for some time now. If we act collectively and reduce the amount of waste we produce, we can help reduce the effects of global warming.
So what has this got to do with vibrators? Batteries of course!
Most vibrators use disposable batteries. You could use rechargeable batteries where available (AA, AAA C, D and 9V) to help reduce the amount of dead battery cells disposed of. Better yet, you could eliminate the need for batteries by using a rechargeable vibrator!
Viva Vibrators have a small range of Lelo designer vibrators, all of which are rechargeable so I decided to take a closer look at them.

A hot pink (cerise) vibrator designed to make you feel hot and very sexy!
Viva Vibrators suggest that this can be used by couples and whilst that is true, it is more suited for women. As it looks like a vibrator, some men may be unwilling to have this used to massage them. Nevertheless, it can be used to excite and tantalise the clitoris, vagina, nipples or penis.
It's a fantastic looking designer sex toy (I love the pink) and is made from medical grade silicone (the shaft) and durable plastic (the handle grip). This results in an easy to clean vibrator with a nice soft feel shaft.
5 pre-programmed vibration settings with a single motor mean that you can experiment and play with what feels good and what feels great!
All the Lelo vibes listed have a battery life of around 1.5 hours after 1 hour of charge which is plenty of time to get have a really good time. All the Lelo's displayed have a lockable control dial which means you can put this in your travel bag without the worry of it accidentally vibrating. Finally, all Lelo designer vibrators listed come with a discreet gift box, stylish satin carry pouch, manual and charger together with a 1 year Lelo warranty.

When the We-Vibe landed on the doorstep, I didn't quite know what to expect. It's a vibrator for women although it says it can be used during sex.
We took it for a test drive (female perspective is here) and here's what I thought about it.

The packaging looked nice. It explains everything about the We-Vibe such as it's uses and technical data.
In the box you'll find the toy, a case, a quick start guide and a charger. There was a bit of charge in the vibrator when it arrived but I boosted that before Mrs Sex Toy Sofa could get her hands near it!
It's easy to turn on and off and it has two pre-set speeds.

The kind people at We-Vibe (Standard Innovation Corporation care of their PR company) sent us a test model to review, so last night we thought we would take it for a test ride (so to speak)! Here's my thoughts and opinions on the We-Vibe.

I loved the packaging. I've never seen a sex toy so beautifully packaged. It makes a change from the naked women pictured on the box. The cream box is printed with silver writing giving you a good idea that a lot of effort has gone into the while package. Poorly packaged sex toys are usually disappointing from the start.
The vibrator feels smooth. It's a firm rubber material in a lovely shade of purple (not that you'll be thinking about the colour for that matter). There's no visible buttons, battery covers or any other distraction resulting in beautiful curves. It really is a visual delight looking at this toy.
The toy is naturally 'C' shaped although it's very flexible. From what I've heard, it's not advisable to forcibly distort the vibrator though the 'C' shape can be expanded or contracted. By default it looks more like 'c' but easily bends to 'C'. This means that it can accommodate women of any size and given that we are all different shapes and sizes, this is considerate design work by Standard Innovation Corporation. They seem to have understood that not all women conform to a single shape.
The sex toy also comes with a carry case which resembles a glasses case, albeit the best spectacles case I've ever seen! It's a deep purple with a light purple splash-like pattern on it. Inside is a cream coloured velvet type material with the We-Vibe logo embedded on the top of the case in a shiny purple print.

The Ann Summers product range has become better and better with the release of new and innovative rampant rabbit vibrators. They have certainly moved a long way from the original rampant rabbit which is great news for us girls who seek more excitement from our toys!
With so many variations of rabbit, which is the best Ann Summers rabbit you could buy for female masturbation? Here's my top five.

We all know exactly what the standard rabbit vibrator is like. It's got a shaft with a rotating head for vaginal pleasure and a protruding set of bunny ears on the side to stimulate the clitoris. The Rampant Rabbit Heart Throb differs in the shaft of the vibe. Instead of a rotating head, the shaft throbs!
Enjoy the 5.25 inch girth as it expands and contracts making you feel incredibly sexy and turned on. Experience powerful and intense orgasms with this toy!
It's a completely different feeling to the normal rabbit vibrator and would make a great addition to any sex toy collection. Not only does it throb, it is also made from a skin-soft material that actually retains body heat. It also looks fantastic in a gorgeous colour decorated with diamante crystals.
The technology is patented to Ann Summers so you won't find this rabbit anywhere else.

This is the first of what I hope will be many individual product reviews. There's been an awful lot of buzz (!) about the We-Vibe Clitoral and G-Spot Vibrator so I've decided to find out as much as I can about it! I headed straight to Love Honey and Sexshop 365 who both sell the We-Vibe to the UK market to find out what it is and why it won Sex Toy Of The Year 2008.

It's a 'C' shaped vibrator available in purple. It is made from medical grade silicone and is ergonomically designed to follow the natural curves of women.
Sound's pretty standard? Wait until you've heard the best bit: it's designed for use during sexual intercourse!

First there were rabbit vibes. Then came along the platinum Omazing Rabbit vibrator. It builds upon the best features of the standard rabbit offering even more thrills (and perhaps spills if you're lucky!) than the basic rampant rabbit vibe.
