Fresh on the heels of my Ann Summers Rampant Rabbit Wave Review, I have another toy to test care of Ann Summers. It's another Rampant Rabbit vibrator but this time instead of a wave action it has a throbbing action. Will this stand up to the rave review the Wave received or is this a flop? A detailed review will decide that of course!

The box is white with purple wisps splashed around the base. A window wraps around the front and left hand side so you can clearly see the tantalising rabbit hidden within.

The reverse of the box simply details a few more of the features together with instructions.
The rabbit itself is held in place between two plastic rims, designed to stop it from moving around in the box. You'll also find a manual inside the box with instructions on how to fit the batteries, etc.
The purple rabbit vibrator looks quite different to the Rabbit Wave. Firstly, the shaft is made of a shiny elastic type material. It apparently retains body heat so it warms up when you first insert it and adjusts to your temperature, rather than feeling cold for the duration.
The base is made from purple plastic with a shiny silver control panel. 4 simple to use buttons control the rabbit. 3 LED lights and 4 diamanté crystals sit above the controls adding a certain touch of class to the look of the vibrator.
Inside the base is the battery box. Press the button towards the silver front and the circular battery box pops out. It takes 4 AAA batteries (smaller than the Wave which uses AA batteries).
The trademark rabbit appears from the base (also coated in the shiny material) with nice and long flappy ears.
The throbbing action is what sets this rabbit apart from the rest. Here's a quick video showing you the rabbit in action:
I grabbed half an hour free-time and head to the bedroom. I was looking forward to the Heart Throb test as I really enjoyed the Wave test. I washed the vibrator, popped in some batteries and lubed up. As with the Wave, Ann Summers haven't specified what type of lube to use but water-based lube is your safest bet.
First test was the shaft. The throbbing action is unusual and unique. I inserted the rabbit and switched it on. It's a very different sensation and very clever. It throbs in and out that in turn stretches and contracts your vaginal lips. I could feel it slightly inside my vagina but it was more prominent around my lips. I must admit it takes a few seconds to get used to as it's an innovative feature I've not tested before.
I quickly ramped up the speed (there are three speed settings) and the fastest felt intensely good. It's almost like a throbbing penis inside of you -although perhaps more throbbing than most! I might be slightly worried if hubby throbbed this much!
The throbbing action is really good and I do really love it. Most of the shaft expands and contracts creating the throbbing action. It's difficult to explain how good it is. Check out the video above and you'll soon be able to imagine what this feels like!
The throbbing action is controlled by the + and - buttons at the base of the control panel. Turn this on and a single red LED shines on the bottom. The faster the the throbbing, the brighter the light.
The rabbit ears were up next and are just divine. I fancied something different so I used the Heart Throb whilst kneeling which also meant I could line the ears and my clitoris up perfectly. The result is amazing! The long ears flap around manically which in turn sends me into a craze!
The ears are controlled by two buttons. One turns the rabbit on and the other changes the vibration pattern. There are seven functions available:
There's plenty of variety to choose from so if you're a girl who likes a constant vibration speed or if you're a woman in need of spice and variety, you are catered for. I started of slow and built up momentum. I did have a go on the fast pulse and that is incredibly quick and powerful.
The ultimate combination is a fast throb with the pulse-pulse-burst setting. That was divine for me and is (for me) the right combination of throbbing intensity and clitoral stimulation.
Simply amazing - definitely worth giving a go if you love rabbits.
I think it's safe to say you need to be a rabbit user to appreciate how novel and unique this Heart Throb rabbit vibrator really is. There's nothing stopping first time rabbit users try this out but it is completely different to the plain old boring rabbits out there.
It's quite difficult to explain the feeling received from this rabbit. It's not like other rabbits and so cannot be compared to them. I liked it a lot.
I want to compare this to something but cannot find the right words. It's not really even comparable to the Ann Summers Rampant Rabbit Wave and I'm so glad I have the two as I really cannot decide which is better.
The fact that this rabbit is so difficult to describe is enforced by the patent Ann Summers has taken out on the rabbit. There is nothing like it so there's nothing to compare it with! It is truly innovative and unique. For a rabbit like no other, buy this!
