In writing articles for Sex Toy Sofa, I come across products that I have to test for reasons of curiosity, excitement and interest. Durex Play 2 in 1 Massage Melts was one of those products so I went out and bought a pack to test out.
This is what they had to say about the product:

Put the pack in the freezer, giving the massage melts enough time to set. Once frozen, pop them out of the packet and apply all over the body.
Play 2 in 1 Massage Melts are tantalising enough to be used for a simply sensational massage but they're sensitive enough to use on intimate areas without causing irritation.
The box itself is exactly what we expected from Durex - a chic and classy design. It looks very wintery with the ice pattern symbolic of the unique product contained within.
A splash of purple also appears on the box, a warm colour contrasting with the cold blues and whites.
Contained within are six pods, each containing a runny lube / massage oil. The idea is that you pop these into the freezer, taking them out when you need them. Whilst in the freezer, they turn into lube ice cubes (don't try and eat these!) which you can melt on your partner's hot body.

Each pillow of lube measures about 2 inches wide. It looks very runny when it's not frozen. I popped one in the freezer and left it for 24 hours. It started to freeze after a couple of hours. The longer they are in the freezer, the longer they will last out of it. Two hours is a minimum according to Durex.
I used Mrs STS as my willing subject. I lay her on her front and popped a pillow out just where her bum meets the arch in her back. She started giggling as it was really cold. As I moved the ice lube (an ice cube made from lube 
) around, she relaxed more and enjoyed the heat from my hands massaging her back contrasted with the cold temperature of the lube. It started to melt quite fast to begin with but slowed down after a while.
I rolled her over and ran the cube over her nipples and then over her vagina. The lubricant is suitable for vaginal, anal and oral sex so it's safe to trace the ice lube over nipples, the clitoris (and when I get my turn) over the penis and then trace your tongue over it. The lube is tasteless which is great!
As the cube finally melted, her vagina was very moist coated in lube so I massaged her labia before playing with her clitoris. I will leave the rest to your imagination
This is certainly a product for couples. It's designed for those who want a little romance in the bedroom, perhaps during foreplay.

Yes, if only for the innovation! If you don't like cold feelings then you may not like these. There designed to add a bit of spice into the bedroom through hot and cold sensations.
This is certainly an ingenious product, and whilst at grass roots it's just a lube, it's the journey of creating a lube from an ice cube that's different. It's something we never came across before.
We'd buy these again but we'd use them as part of a romantic evening, rather than every day. That said, I do believe this is exactly what they were created for.
