It's no secret that Fleshlight are a popular brand of male sex toy, infact their website claims they are the "number one selling male sex toy in the world". It's a bold claim and suggests that they have a great range of products.
Here at Sex Toy Sofa, I've not yet had the privelidge to review a Fleshlight device - until now that is. The kind people at Love Honey have sent over a cut down version of the original Fleshlight (you know, the one shaped like a flash light). This Sex in a Can version is more suited as a travel male masturbator. But by shrinking the size, have they cut out the fun?

The Abbeys Secret Ale Fleshlight Sex In A Can masturbator comes in a plastic tube. A mirrored strip runs around the base of the packaging with the Fleshlight logo printed on this. The plastic tube is half covered by a cardboard sleeve which shows the opening and inner sleeve texture on the outside of the packaging.
On the reverse of the cardboard sleeve is a set of care and usage instructions. It's simple advice which covers adjusting the sleeve's temperature, adjusting the suction, lubrication and cleaning.
The can is plastic and features a screw-top lid and base. The top one is removed to use the Fleshlight sex toy whilst the bottom one is simply adjusted to change the desired level of suction. It can be removed for quick and easy cleaning.
The sleeve of this Fleshlight Sex In A Can is made from the same patented SuperSkin material used in full size Fleshlights. It's famous for being one of the most realistic feeling texture available in the world of sex toys.
The Fleshlight Sex In A Can can accommodate penises up to around 7 inches in length and over 2 inches wide, which should be the vast majority of people.
After unscrewing the top cap and firmly closing the bottom cap, I poured in a liberal amount of lube. It came with a small pillow of lube for the first use and find now that one or two full squirts from a push pump dispenser of water-based lube is enough.
The instructions say you can change the temperature of the sleeve by running it under warm water for a bit. The sleeve retains heat so it can feel even more lifelike if you pre-warm the sleeve.

I quite liked having an upright position when using this toy as it offers a good satisfying feeling. It's also a little easier to fantasise someone giving you an incredible blowjob.
By adjusting the base you can increase or decrease the suction. Some people don't like it so for such people, twisting the base to open it slightly removes the suction function. A top tip is to do this to slide your penis in, then tighten the cap - it's not a necessity but I find it easier to get my penis in the can this way.
Admittedly, I didn't notice the nodules that line the sleeve. They are quite large bumps as can be seen in the texture below but they felt like they merged into one. As a final note, the sleeve can get a little tacky after many uses. Fleshlight recommend dusting the sleeve with cornflour to revive the original silky feel. They also say this may help to extend the life of the Fleshlight which is a good thing.
The connotation with travel masturbators are that they are small, pokey and perfect for the less well-endowed. Thta is simply not the case with the Fleshlight Sex In A Can Abbeys Secret Ale masturbator. It offers the same material as the full sized Fleshlight but in a different, smaller package. The only difference is it is more snug than a regular Fleshlight which is a perk in my eyes. A tighter, more intense feeling combined with fantastic suction and a mouth opening is totally immersive - it feels as good as (dare I say even better than?) the best blowjob you have ever had.
For those worrying about size, so long as your penis isn't longer than 7 inches, you'll be fine. Bigger studs will still be able to use it, but not along the full length of their shaft.
