The kind people at Fun Factory have sent me a Fun Factory DeLight vibrator to test and review. The German manufacturer of sex toys is renowned for a range of designer sex toys than perform well and look stunning. From the looks of it the shape is intriguing and the vibrant white/orange (known as vitamin) colour of my review model is certainly eye catching.Buy whilst it looks amazing how does it perform?

Noble elegance meets fabulous functionality - the DeLight CLICK 'N' CHARGE is considered the Rolls-Royce of vibrators and promises new heights of passion. This luxury vibrator unites external stimulation with insertion. The aesthetic sculpture can be intuitively guided with the 'Royal Curl' and has a curved end for stimulating the G-spot. A slight bulge tickles out extra desire in harmony with the vibrations.
The Fun Factory DeLight arrives in a sleek cardboard box designed pretty much like any other Fun Factory box. The box is a silver tone and has splashes of the iconic Fun factory red colour over it. A large transparent window showcases the DeLight and the front un-clips and fold out to show a full view of the sex toy. Inside this front folder (which is held closed by a magnet) is a diagram depicting the features of the Fun Factory DeLight together with a brief overview of the toy.
The reverse of the packaging shows a large picture of a woman's hand holding the black and white Fun Factory DeLight whilst icons up the side of the box describes few features.
Inside the box is a cardboard tray which holds the Fun Factory DeLight tight and securely. Underneath this is a set of instructions, a guide to other available Fun Factory toys and a sachet of Toy Fluid (lube).
I have affectionately nicknamed the Fun Factory DeLight as the seahorse thanks to it's unique shape.The white areas of the vibrator are made from a firm thermoplastic whilst the orange areas are made from super soft silicone. That means the top handle area (where the controls are located) is firm but the insertable area at the bottom is flexible to accommodate female contours.
The design is sensuous and exquisite, and has won several design awards including the iF Product Design Award 2010 and the Reddot Design Award 2008. The curve at the top acts as a handle and it is surprising how such a simple feature can (a) look amazing and (b) be so overlooked on other vibrators. For me, having a handle there made it much easier to hold and use.
There are 8 vibration intensities on offer scaling from a relatively slow hum to an insanely intense throb. On top of this there are three vibration pulsation patterns at high speed. Pressing the '+' and '-' buttons cycles through the vibration patterns adjusting the speed and intensity as required.
There's a raised lump along the shaft that is designed to hit your clitoris as you use the vibrator. For me, it didn't quite reach so I couldn't use this as a dual vaginal and clitoral vibrator. Nevertheless, the vibrations are really intense. I couldn't use the higher speeds on my clitoris as they were just too intense - something I need to work up to! Internally, the vibrations were really strong and thank to the curved shape of the vibrator they hit my G-Spot perfectly. Combined with some clitoral stimulation it was orgasmic!
Charging is easy. Two magnetic spheres are located on the handle and these are where the Click 'n' Charge adapter clips onto. The magnetic charger is nice and simple to use and the vibrator glows red as it charges. Charging can take up to 6 hours for a full charge but the standby time equates to around 3 months thanks to the lithium polymer battery.
Whilst the intention is for vaginal insertion, the manual refers to anal insertion too so it makes it ideal for curious women and couples too.
Overall, I enjoyed using the Fun Factory DeLight. The curve just didn't match my body contours but the powerful vibrations make up for that. The shape is elegant and refined and it is such a pleasure to look at. Thankfully it is a pleasure to use too and is a breeze to control.
