Male masturbators are becoming increasingly popular and I imagine 2009 will see this popularity increase. Sex and the City is famed for liberating women and bringing vibrators into mainstream society in recent years. As women become more infatuated with sex toys, more men seem to be catching on to the fact that there are some toys designed for them. Men are far under-represented when it comes to the variety of sex toys available but my guess is that this will change very shortly.
Anyway, I was sent the Loveclone II Blow Hard Mouth, a male masturbator designed to mimic a blow job, by Sexshop 365 to test and review. So here goes!

The packaging is relatively okay. The front of the box has a naked woman on it but she's to one side. A large plastic window shows the product clearly. Underneath the masturbator you'll see the 3 speed vibrating bullet used to make this product, erm ... vibrate!
The strap line on the box reads "for men who like it between the lips".
The naked woman can also be found on the back along with a lot of useful information about the product. Inside the box, everything is held in place between two sheets of plastic.
Male masturbators tend to take on two different guises - they'll either be nondescript and focus on delivering a great non-specific feeling; or they'll be designed to look and feel like something, typically a mouth, a vagina or an anus.
There's no doubt which category the Blow Hard Mouth snugly fits into.
The opening of this product is shaped like a mouth. It's fairly firm and made from the Loveclone real feel skin-like material. Protruding from the rear of this is a flexible 6 inch long casing. It's got no shape and bends freely thus accommodating any shape and size of penis.
The vibrating bullet fits into the rear of the "chin" on the masturbator.
The inside of what would essentially be the masturbator's throat is covered in soft nodules. It's not the best photo in the world but here's what the masturbator looks like, turned inside out:
Apologies as that picture really doesn't look great! It does, however, let you see the nodules close up. Each has a wide circular base and then has a soft thin protruding "nipple" for want of a better word. This means the length of the inside isn't smooth, it's made of three layers - the base layer, the wide circular base and the nodule itself.
The Blow Hard Mouth comes with a pot of talc that you're supposed to use to keep it soft and use to avoit friction. That said, I used a bit of water based lubricant as I couldn't see how a small bit of talc was going to be adequate.
Entering the masturbator was easy but felt remarkably similar to entering a vagina - it hugs the head of your penis as you slide in. It's the lips that hug - the inside wasn't tight at all and whilst it felt great, it could perhaps have been tighter.
It's the mouth entrance that did it for me. It's a masturbator where you want to keep going inside and out rather than trying to stay in.
The vibrator didn't really seem to have much f an effect. I probably wouldn't have missed it if it wasn't there.
It's also a very visual toy. There's nothing quite like watching a set of lips envelop your penis 
There are a couple of criticisms. Firstly, the length of "throat" makes this toy a one-size-fits-all type of toy. It is, however, perhaps a bit too long given that more time will probably be spent sliding your penis in and out of the mouth rather than "deepthroating".
Another criticism is that the packaging states there's a thin film over the mouth that will make it feel like a "first time" penetration. This wasn't there (or was so thin I missed it). I'm not sure I'd want that on a blow job masturbator so didn't miss it in all fairness.
Cleaning was nice and simple. Take the bullet out of it and turn it inside, washing it with soapy water.
Overall, this is a toy focussed on visual appeal. It's great to watch as the mouth engulfs your penis. The feeling is similar to a very good blowjob albeit without the sucking element. The throat of the masturbator feels nice but it isn't anything to rave about - unlike the lips themselves.
It's mainly designed to be visually appealing whilst delivering similar sensations to a blowjob. It doesn't suck so it's not "realistic" in that sense but the sensations it does deliver are really good. It requires an up-and-down / in-and-out movement so perhaps it's not the same as a normal blow job where your partner does all the work. As a male masturbator however, it rocks.
It's also suitable for straight and gay men. okay so the lips are clearly female (and the packaging also suggests that) but it just takes a bit of imagination if you'd prefer a set of men's lips.
If you are after a nondescript masturbator that feels great, you'd be better suited to something like the Tenga Flip Masturbator. If the visual aspect is important to you or you are on a budget, this is perfect. It offers amazing feelings similar to that of a blowjob whilst offering the visual of your penis sliding in and out of a mouth. If deepthroat (or regular) blowjobs is your favourite and you want to be able to receive them without a partner, give this a whirl.
