LoveHoney C String Review

The C-String has been around for a while and has created quite a stir in the lingerie world, thanks to its unique look and design. Love Honey have a wide range of C-String designs and sizes and they are currently running an offer where you can save £5 when you spend £20 or more on C-String lingerie!

They kindly sent over a sample so I could try it out and see whether it is any good.

The Packaging

The C-String comes in minimal packaging which is great as it doesn't really need anything larger or fancier as that would be wasteful. It comes in a plastic wrapper together with a card explaining a bit about the C-String.

It's made in the USA and is deemed the "sexiest, most innovative lingerie and swimwear available" which is certainly a bold claim. The rear of the card details other products made by the same company including G-Strings, booty shorts, halter tio sets and triangle top sets. The triangle tops are also available at Love Honey.

The Product Itself

The product is very simple yet very unique. It develops on the G-String by removing the bands that run around the waist. The principle here is that thongs have helped minimise panty lines but the C-String eliminates them altogether.

The C-String has a metal strip running around the edge which holds it in a distinctive "c", "u" or "n" shape (depending on which way you hold it!). It's firm but flexible meaning it will stretch to accommodate quite a large shape.

The C-String comes in many colours including black lace, black, white lace, Polka Dot, hot pink, red, stripey, white and baby pink. I've got the black one to try out.

The Test

Going into the test I had a few questions I wanted to answer:

1. Does it stay on when you stand up?
2. Is it comfortable?
3. Is it practical?

The first test was to put it on. It seemed odd putting it on and letting go as it felt like it could drop off. Surprisingly it doesn't. The metal frame adapts to your body and it holds on firmly. I walked around for a bit trying to make it fall off and aside from jumping like a mad woman I couldn't get it to fall off.

The metal inside worried me as I thought it might make it uncomfortable. Again I was surprised to find out that it's not uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong you can feel it more than you can a regular thong but it's not distracting or uncomfortable. In fact after a while you get used to it and it feels almost like you're not wearing anything.

So how does the C-String stack up in practical terms? Well it works on hiding panty lines together with being comfortable, secure and flexible. I wore it to work and found it really great. It was comfortable and after the initial doubt I felt I could trust it to be a reliable garment. Admittedly it was a bit odd taking it off to go to the toilet as I've never had to hold my kickers in my hand before on the loo!

I will happily admit I am a C-String convert. It's not something that I would use every day but it really could be. It's a sexy piece of underwear that is great for wearing along with nothing else in the bedroom. I've honestly never felt sexier as I wiggled around and danced around the bedroom. It also gives you confidence whilst wearing it outdoors as you can be assured you have zero visible panty lines and you know it will stay where it is supposed to!

Summary

Who Is It For?

I can see two groups of women being ideally suited to the C-String.

The first is those who go to work in suits or those who wear outfits where visible panty lines should be avoided at all costs. We all like to look glamorous and gorgeous and there's nothing worse than knowing other people (work colleagues, customers, etc.) can see your underwear through your outer wear.

The second group would be those who like a sexy pair of knickers for erotic bedroom play. This definitely looks very fetching when worn and definitely made me feel more confident about teasing my man with some sexy wiggles!

The Positives

• Highly innovative
• Wide range of colours and sizes
• Great for general wear or for in the bedroom

The Negatives

• The C-String needs to be hand washed which is more an inconvenience than a problem

Is It Worth Buying?

I'd say yes. It's probably not something you would replace your knickers drawer with (although if they found some way to make it machine washable then it perhaps could be) but it's a great invention that will be used. You'll wear it with suits, trousers and definitely as part of a bit of kinky foreplay.
