Nexus have just launched an innovative new prostate massager called the Nexus Revo. The kind people at Nexus (care of pleasure2me) have sent over the new Nexus Revo to try out.

The Nexus Revo is a true revolution in male pleasure! This standalone product is the first ever prostate massager to feature an independently moving head. Drawing strength from the highly calibrated internal mechanisms, the motion of the head is driven by a powerful motor that gives maximum strength to the force of the rotation. Alongside this, the Revo also boasts an external perineum stimulator which features two deep vibration patterns and raised pleasure nodules. This works in conjunction with the rotating head to create a dual sensation which promises to take the user into sensory overdrive.
The Nexus Revo comes in a discreet black box revealing very little about the toy. The outer black cardboard sleeve features a silver printed Nexus Revo logo whilst on the reverse is an explanation of the product. Unusually there's no product pictures so you need to open it to see what is hidden within.
After you slide the outer sleeve off, you're presented with a black box. This sis split in the middle and either side peels apart revealing the stunning Revo standing proudly.
Underneath the stand you will find the instruction manual and a card proving authenticity. The Revo also comes with a soft touch stretchy sleeve to keep the toy safe and sound.
As for the Revo itself, first impressions are good. It's non-intimidating and looks pretty similar to other prostate massagers. The shaft is crafted from phthalate free silicone which has a lovely soft feel to it whilst the base is made from solid ABS plastic.
There is a simple push button on the bottom of the front end of the Revo and the battery compartment is on the back end of the base. A cap pulls off where two AA batteries can be inserted. Remember to check the '+' and '-' orientation as I made the mistake of putting them in the wrong way!
The Nexus Revo measures around 14.5cm in height. The base is around 12.5cm in width and the Revo features around 10cm of insertable length. It measures a delectable 3cm width at the thickest part.
The Nexus Revo on the face of it looks like many other prostate massagers but it's only when you start using it that you can feel what makes it difference.What sets this prostate massager apart from others is something of a first. The Revo features an independent head which is separate to the shaft. This is attached to a motor that rotates it around, creating a unique massaging sensation exactly where it's needed.
This new technology is fantastic and works really well. There's a lot of hidden gadgetry that has gone into creating the motion. Firstly the Revo has an internal chassis which offers extra strength. On top of this it is powered by a drive motor with both a high torque gearbox and an integral clutch with super quiet nylon gears. The result is continuous smooth rotating motion inside the anal passage unaffected by clenching, squirming or movement.
The Revo is designed to be a multi-purpose toy. You can either use it on its own and enjoy the sensations it delivers or you can use it in conjunction with penile stimulation. Some handy suggestions from Nexus include using it whilst watching pornographic material or whilst enjoying a body massage from your partner. It's a shame that there's not more head rotation patterns on offer or a variety of vibration patterns. Perhaps these might feature in the next version but the plus side of not having these is the Revo is incredibly easy to use. The button requires a simple press, and you don't need to look at it to see what you're doing with it.
Using the Revo is great fun and I found it delivered better sensations standing up versus lying or sitting down. Switching between cycles is easy and the size and shape is not intimidating, making it ideal for beginners and for pros.
Unfortunately the Nexus Revo is not waterproof so it cannot be submerged making it difficult to clean easily. It also doesn't like antibacterial cleaners that contain alcohol or acetone. Soap and water is recommended here. making the Revo waterproof may have perhaps opened up new possibilities of pleasure and would have made cleaning much easier.
Overall though, this clever and innovative prostate massager is fantastic. It performs well and features high quality gadgetry to keep it moving deep inside you. It targets the prostate perfectly and the rotating head produces unique sensations unlike any other prostate massager I've come across.
