First off, many thanks to Sex Toys who have become the latest sex toy retailer to support us in our endeavour to provide accurate user sex toy review. We've had a lot of feedback suggesting that our blend of telling it like it is, together with real photos is a combination that is loved by our readers.
Sex Toys have sent over a box of goodies for me to try out and I'll be posting these reviews online over the course of the next week or so. Today I start with the Oh Mi Bod Club Vibe, a sex toy designed to be used in a night club!

Club Vibe is about to rock your world! Whether you want to get off at the nightclub, to your ipod or in your bedroom, this product is guaranteed to take you away. Slip on the comfortable thong with lace trim and slip the bullet inside whilst clipping the controller on your waist. Now choose your vibrating mode.
Three modes include: Ambient (Vibrates to the sounds around you. Whether it be music or your lovers voice, your orgasms will be tuned in to your surroundings to take you to another level), Music (vibrates to the beat of your ipod, iphone or mp3player) and Manual (choose from 7 vibration patterns and control them using the control pad)
The box is very sleek designed in black. The toy has been designed to be used in a club so that's why silhouettes of clubbers dancing away appear on the front.
The reverse is full of information about how the Club Vibe should be used and what's included in the pack.
The box includes a bullet vibrator and controller, a one size fits most (OSFM) thong, a splitter cable, a velvet pouch to keep the vibe and thong safe and out of the way, a manual, and finally 2 AAA batteries. Everything is held in place inside the box in a plastic tray.
OhMiBod suggests that this would make a great gift for birthdays, bachelorettes and anniversaries.
There are various parts to this product so I'll run through each one individually.
The black control box is around 3 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and nearly 1 inch deep. 2 AAA batteries pop into the back of the control box.
The bullet vibrator plugs into the socket on the top. On the left hand side you can switch the mode between ambient, music and manual. On the base there's a socket to plug in your MP3 player as well as a volume dial to increase or reduce the sensitivity of the vibrator.
On the front you'll find two buttons (a circle and a cross). The circle cycles through the vibration modes in manual mode whilst the cross stops it from vibrating.
On the reverse of the box you'll find a belt clip so you can attach the box to your trousers, shorts or skirt.
This has to be one of the smallest bullet vibrators I have ever seen. However, looks are deceiving as it really is very powerful. A silver cable connects the vibrator to the battery box.
This connects your MP3 player to the battery box. It also has a third socket which you can plug a set of headphones into and listen to your music as the bullet vibrates along.
A really nice, soft velvet pouch is provided which houses the thong. It's a typical thong in black and has a lace pattern around the waistband.
A really nice manual is supplied and whilst it feels thick at first, it does contain translations is many different languages which means there are only a couple of pages of any use in any of the supplied languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian as well as a few I'm not sure of including what I reckon is Greek, Chinese and Japanese).
I was very surprised by the size of the vibrator. I looked at it and thought that it would feel OK if anything. I was very shocked at how good it was when it started vibrating manically as I played around with the Club Vibe unit. It really does deliver quite powerful vibrations.
You have three choices when it comes to using the Club Vibe:
This mode is perfect for when you are at a club. The music, thanks to the control box, makes the vibrator vibrate in patterns according to that particular track. It listens to the baseline and vibrates according to how strong that is.
That's the theory. The problem with this mode is that you need the music to be reasonably loud (e.g. a dance floor of a club) and you need to wear the box on the outside of your clothing. With a cable running from that inside your clothes, you may get a few funny looks. If you are have a very relaxed and outgoing attitude then this probably won't bother you but I'm very self-conscious and would feel very conspicuous wearing this like that.
Fear not as it can react to your radio, CD player speakers or even noises such as the TV or your partner. Quite a fun game is getting your partner to tell you what they love about your body whilst you've got the bullet hovering over your clitoris. Their words will never have sounded so sexy!
For us more self-conscious girls, the music mode is perfect as it offers the fun of the Ambient mode in a nightclub at home in the bedroom. Simply plug in your music player via the supplied splitter cable and press play. The vibrator will vibrate to the music track playing.
It's interesting to see how it reacts to different music. A classical piece offers low vibration intensity whereas dance and hip hop offers powerful bursts of vibration. It's a clever piece of kit and if you can line up a great play list you can spend a long time being sexually seduced by a whole host of musicians, climaxing to a fast beat track!
You can wear the thong to hold the vibrator pressed against you or you can hold the vibrator on your clitoris in the bedroom. You can also listen to the music thanks to the splitter cable which means you just need to pop some headphones into the extra socket. You can sing away to yourself - or at least try as the powerful intensive vibrations against your clitoris may make it a tad difficult!
If you don't have any music handy or prefer to use a set of pre-programmed vibration patterns then this mode is for you. I preferred using the mode after a period of varied music as it held me near climax. I switched back to the music mode to take me over the edge.

Something I probably cannot convey that well is how intense the vibration can be. The fast speed is really fast, perhaps one of the fastest I have ever tested which given the size of the bullet is incredible. A few minutes with this and your clitoris (and the rest of you for that matter) will be tingling. I found I had to start off in the slow modes and build up as fast was too fast to begin with. By the end it was perfect for a full body orgasm that was really insanely gorgeous.
The vibrator is not waterproof so don't use it as a vibrating egg. As it's a clitoral toy, I would have loved to see one very small design change to the thong. I'd like to have seen a pocket in which I can slip the bullet into and it would keep it pressed against my clitoris while I wore it. For me that would be much more comfortable and practical although perhaps the reason why they haven't done this is down to the fact that all women are created differently.
I think it's a great gadget and it works very well. This particular model is perhaps aimed towards more outgoing girls than I am but with a bit of imagination it is a great gadget for adding a bit of spice and musical pleasure into the bedroom.
It's a great gift too as you could play many games with it. "Tell me how much you love me" and "can I scream loud enough to have an orgasm" are just two I came up with. How about making horny noises while giving hubby a blowjob - can you both make enough noise to orgasm thanks to the Club Vibe? All it takes is your imagination!
This one's designed for the girls but I bet it would feel nice in a guys pants too - perhaps not the same feeling but very pleasurable nevertheless.
It's a great toy to use on your own or with a partner. All you need is some noise - be that your own voice, hubby's voice, background music or some prepared tracks on your iPod or MP3 player.
As quite a shy girl (no, really!), I don't think I'd want to wear this in public, more for fear of the look on my face as this has its wicked way with me. Also, I'm not sure about the battery box being clipped to my trousers, skirt or shorts.
For more confident and outgoing women then I couldn't see this being a problem!
Regardless of this, it's a fun toy to use and doesn't have to be used outdoors. It can be just as fun indoors too.
