It's time for another review and today I'm taking the Shots Toys Ripple vibrator through its paces. The Ripple is a silicone vaginal, anal and clitoral vibrator and is formed in a unique shape. I've got the purple one to test thanks to the kind people at Sex Toys.

Delivered in a white box (with pink back) decorated with flowers around the side, the Ripple does look quite sophisticated. It can be seen through a clear plastic font and admittedly does look slightly unusual at first glance.
The side and the rear of the box contains a description translated in various languages. It explains some of the product features including:
the first thing to notice is how bendy it really is. The thinner parts (the handle at the base and the anal probe) wobble as you move the Ripple around. The shaft is very flexible and can bend in all manner of directions!
A large handle features on the base making the vibrator easier to use. The shaft has a upwards curve on it and ripples along the top of the shaft. The shaft measures around 3.5 inches of insertable length and is nearly 1.5 inches wide at the thickest part.
An anal tickler protrudes from the base of the vibrator which is nearly 2 inches long and just over half an inch wide.
A hoop is located at the top and it's this you slide the supplied bullet vibrator through. The bullet vibrator could be used on its own so you technically get two toys in one here!
A variety of colours are available to suit your style and tastes including pink, orange, green, purple and black.
I lubed up the shaft and anal probe after a pushed the vibrator into the hole. To begin with I thought I'd slide the shaft into my vagina. I was slightly concerned about the anal probe aspect as I like to move vibrators like this in and out rather than holding them in one place. The reason I was concerned was because the anal tickler looked a little short in comparison to the shaft.
My concern proved to be correct. If you pull this shaft out too far, the anal toy slips out. I found it more distracting than pleasurable having to keep re-aligning the anal nodule. After a while of using it I got a bit better at calculating how far to pull it out each time.
I initially thought the anal toy itself is the wrong way around as it gets bigger towards the tip. I would have thought it would be better getting bigger the further in you push it, just like the vaginal shaft. However, the bulbous tip is quite handy with the above problem. I found that if I clenched my bum cheeks together, it sucked the vibrator in closer to my body, stopping it from popping out so much.
As far as the ripples go, I loved these and think these may well be the best part. They cover the top of both the shaft and anal tickler and feel fantastic when slid in and out. My only criticism here is that it would have perhaps been better if the ripples surrounded the entire shaft.
The upwards pointing shaft is great at rubbing your G-spot area and the roof of your vagina without any fuss.
After testing this out, I then switched the vibrator on. The vibrations come from a bullet vibrator which can be removed and used on it's own. I was very impressed with the quality of the bullet vibe. It's powered by 3 LR44 batteries but despite this, it packs an incredibly powerful punch. 10 vibration patterns have been pre-programmed into it including:
Pressing once more on the button on the base of the bullet vibe turns it off. You can turn it off quickly and easily by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds. This also turns it on if the bullet is currently off.
The vibrations travel along the Ripple vibrator but perhaps not as well as I would have liked. Also, the vibrator is placed like a bar across the width of the top of the vibrator which means whilst it does touch the clitoris, it doesn't rest on it if you are sliding the vibrator in and out. I would have liked t see something like bunny ears or something like the anal tickler on the top to play with my clit.
You could theoretically use the vibrator upside down but due to the angled shaft, it means it would be rubbing along the base of your vagina which is not as comfortable or erotic as the top for me. The anal tickler does, however, do a very good job at rubbing over my clit.
My initial reaction was it's a chicks toy but the box says it can also be used by men. I could imagine this being a great toy to use solely for anal use (using the big shaft), if a little filling!
I quite liked this. It's a unique design that, in my opinion, isn't the most attractive in the world. Looks are deceiving though as the rippled texture feels great as you slide it in and out.
For me, the anal tickler was a little annoying after a while, especially if you are moving the Ripple in and out of your vagina. I would have rather seem bunny ears but for some, the anal tickling might be more of a turn on.
