Not so long ago Lovehoney asked if I wanted t try out the latest male masturbator to hit our shores. Having tried out Fleshlight toys as well as TENGA toys, I was keen to find out whether there was room for another male masturbator.

The Spider Hands Free Realistic Male Masturbator comes in a cardboard tube with a pattern across it. The front of the tub displays the Spider logo along with the strap line "masturbator for hands free sexual training".
The rear of the tube explains a bit about the spider along with a few pictures of the main features, showing bth the black and white versions. It also shows a diagram of the internal texture of the sleeve.
The white Spider masturbator looks to me like a dumbbell or a pepper mill. It's not too disimilar to the disguise of a flash light but to me it looks like the Fleshlight and TENGA mated and this is the offspring.
The cap pulls off revealing the flesh coloured insert. Beautifully textured vaginal lips greet you with slight lining n the lips and a prominent clitoris. Pulling the lips apart reveals an inviting textured tunnel.The material is soft and feels very much like a Fleshlight insert. It is more similar to a Fleshlight than TENGA in this respect as TENGA opted for a soft clear jelly like material rather than a smooth skin-like sleeve.
The insert pulls out and in architecture looks similar to the Fleshlight offering. It seems smaller than the Fleshlights I've used but feels pretty much the same.
After popping the top cap off the Spider and lubing up it is time for entry. The vaginal lips are soft and supple and the entrance is snug. The internal texture aims to replicate the feeling of a real vagina and thus contains varying textures including bobbles, ribs and patterns.
The insert offers around 7 inches of insertable length which should suit most. The textures continue right to the end so it doesn't matter how deep you go, it will feel amazing.
The Spider masturbator can be used as a typical male masturbator sleeve anywhere so it's great for keeping next to the bed for play time. The party trick of the Spider, and what sets it apart from Fleshlight and TENGA, is the ability to use it as a hands free masturbator thanks to the large suction cup hidden underneath the base cap. The suction pad is easy to use and is great for smooth clean surfaces. Simply press the Spider suction cup against the surface and twist the locking device around to hold the suction. A twist screw allows you to change the angle of entry as it swivels up to 120 degrees.
The angle of entry can mimic popular sex positions as can be seen by this diagram, which disappointingly isn't included with the Spider sex toy.

It does need to be a smooth surface and those with a gloss or mirror finish are usually the best. Some surfaces might look smooth (e.g. matt finish tiles) but they have tiny holes in them which means the suction may be adequate but may not hold for long.

One tip I heard was to stick it to a computer desk which means you could do a bit of Internet "browsing" whilst using the Spider masturbator. That's almost interactive porn!
The hands-free element is great as it means it can be used as a hands-operated and hands-free masturbator. It's great for the bathroom as hands free and for using whilst sat at the computer. Being hands-free means you can thrust faster, harder and deeper and personally I found the deeper moves to be more satisfying.
I was sceptical when I first saw the Spider as I believed it was another Fleshlight inspired creations but this designer sex toy certainly delivers and thanks to its suction pad party trick it fits comfortably in the market of male masturbators. It offers something different and something unique whilst retaining the best features of the best male masturbator sex toys. The insert feels soft and gentle to the touch and the textured insert feels amazing to push your penis through.
