Tenga Eggs Review

I've tried and tested the Tenga Flip Hole Masturbator and since then, Tenga have added to their onacup range with the Tenga Eggs. They were kind enough to send through a few eggs to test out and so I share my thoughts below.

The Packaging

Unwrapping The Tenga Egg

The Egg is a rather peculiar invention. I would have loved to have been in the meeting where the idea was proposed. Look out for fruit and veg shaped masturbators coming to an online sex toy retailer near you

The design is very clever as is the packaging. A thin film wraps around a hard egg shell. This thin film is the packaging you can see above. Once this is removed, a hard white egg shell can be found. This splits along the middle into two pieces. Inside you'll find the Tenga egg masturbator toy. Inside the hole is a plastic insert which holds a sachet of lubricant.

The Product Itself

The Tenga Egg is a revolutionary design and so is the material it is made from. The pictures cannot convey how soft and squidgy it really is. It feels silky soft yet it's very stretchy. It's not jelly, or rubber. It's good though!

The Tenga Eggs have different inner patterns. The one's available from Tenga are:

Tenga Egg Clicker - features a bobble pattern all over the inside.
Tenga Egg Wavy - features a wave pattern at regular spaces along the inside (think ribs).
Tenga Egg Spider - features a cross hatch pattern all over the inside.

The Test

First thing to point out is the size. Each Egg is only a few inches tall which naturally dents the ego a little! As soon as you touch the Egg you'll realise that it will accommodate any shape and size of penis. Tenga reckon it can stretch up to 12 inches in length and 8 inches in girth - that's one huge penis if you ask me!

You don't need too much lube to use this. Water based lube seems to work well with the Eggs as I opted to use my trusted bottle of Liquid Silk.

Once the sleeve is on, you have a few options on how to use it (from research as no instructions are supplied):

Up and down - like you would with a normal masturbator. This feels great as the patterns create a unique and pleasant sensation.
Twist - Twisting it around gives a different feeling to miving up and down
Both - The best way I found to use it is to move up and down over the most sensitive part of your penis (the first couple of inches) whilst twisting it. This get's the best of both worlds.

Upon ejaculation, as it's a sealed unit, it's very clean and tidy. No pesky clean up required, just either dispose of the Egg or if it is in a good condition, rinse it out with warm water. Once it's dry, pop it back into the eggshell and viola, it's ready for next time.

Curious on how long an Egg would last, I've been running a trial to see. So far, each egg averages around 8 to 10 uses before it starts looking a bit worse for wear. You have to treat it with a bit of care to achieve this though. If you like rough masturbation or prolonged sessions, you'll probably wear through an Egg more quickly than those who don't.

Is It Worth Buying?

Oh yes! With careful usage, you can get a few uses out of each egg making it cheaper per use over time. The feelings are different to the Flip Hole but are also different to anything else I've tried. Thus I wouldn't buy these instead of a Flip Hole - I'd buy the eggs as well as the Flip!

It's a great sex toy for men and far surpassed my expectations. Tenga seem to be going from strength to strength with their amazing range of "sex toys for boys"!
