This is the first of what I hope will be many individual product reviews. There's been an awful lot of buzz (!) about the We-Vibe Clitoral and G-Spot Vibrator so I've decided to find out as much as I can about it! I headed straight to Love Honey and Sexshop 365 who both sell the We-Vibe to the UK market to find out what it is and why it won Sex Toy Of The Year 2008.

What Is The We-Vibe?

It's a 'C' shaped vibrator available in purple. It is made from medical grade silicone and is ergonomically designed to follow the natural curves of women.

Sound's pretty standard? Wait until you've heard the best bit: it's designed for use during sexual intercourse!

What Makes The We-Vibe Different To Other Products?

You mean the fact that it is designed for use during sex isn't enough?! The We-Vibe Clitoral and G-Spot Vibrator is hands free and wireless. It can be used by women as a stand-alone sex toy, it can be used with a dildo or it can be used whilst engaging in sex.

How Do I Use It?

  1. Firstly, make sure it's clean as with all sex toys
  2. Then, apply a water based lube to make it easier to use.
  3. Turn it on. It has 2 speed settings: fast and slow.
  4. Insert the tapered slender end into your vagina up to the bend (that's around 3 inches). It's shape means the other end will hug your clitoris and labia.

The inner part of the vibrator will vibrate against your G-spot as the dildo or penis moves in and out. The outer part tickles and excites your clitoris driving you crazy!

The vibrator has two motors so instead of a monotonous buzz normal vibrators offer, you get a rhythmic pulsing throughout your body. We-Vibe refer to it as "Harmonic Throbbing".

Will My Partner Feel Anything?

The vibrator has a low profile which means your partner won't feel obstructed in any way. He'll feel the vibrations along his penis teasing him making his orgasm more enjoyable so it's a toy that pleasures both partners.

The We-Vibe is only available in the UK from a limited number of retailers. Love Honey claim to be the only exclusive UK retailer (which means you get a UK plug adapter) although Sexshop 365 offer the same product. Imported models will not have the correct UK adapter.
