We Vibe Review From A Female Perspective

The kind people at We-Vibe (Standard Innovation Corporation care of their PR company) sent us a test model to review, so last night we thought we would take it for a test ride (so to speak)! Here's my thoughts and opinions on the We-Vibe.

First Impressions

I loved the packaging. I've never seen a sex toy so beautifully packaged. It makes a change from the naked women pictured on the box. The cream box is printed with silver writing giving you a good idea that a lot of effort has gone into the while package. Poorly packaged sex toys are usually disappointing from the start.

The vibrator feels smooth. It's a firm rubber material in a lovely shade of purple (not that you'll be thinking about the colour for that matter). There's no visible buttons, battery covers or any other distraction resulting in beautiful curves. It really is a visual delight looking at this toy.

The toy is naturally 'C' shaped although it's very flexible. From what I've heard, it's not advisable to forcibly distort the vibrator though the 'C' shape can be expanded or contracted. By default it looks more like 'c' but easily bends  to 'C'. This means that it can accommodate women of any size and given that we are all different shapes and sizes, this is considerate design work by Standard Innovation Corporation. They seem to have understood that not all women conform to a single shape.

The sex toy also comes with a carry case which resembles a glasses case, albeit the best spectacles case I've ever seen! It's a deep purple with a light purple splash-like pattern on it. Inside is a cream coloured velvet type material with the We-Vibe logo embedded on the top of the case in a shiny purple print.

Turning The We-Vibe On

The power switch is concealed underneath the rubber skin. Switch it to the left and you get a slow vibration. Switch to the right for a more intense vibration. I heard some criticism before this arrived about the fact that you have to go through 'off' to switch between vibrations. This is true but it's only a split-second before it's back on again. t wasn't anything that caused a problem or a loss of pleasure in any way.

Charging the vibe is easy too. There's a tiny pinhole underneath the power switch. You slide the adapter into this and connect it to the mains. It takes a few hours to fully charge although a criticism here is that there is no light to tell you when it's fully charged. Perhaps a light on the charger unit (that comes on or goes off when fully charged) would have been worthwhile.

Using The We-Vibe As A Vibrator

Mr Sex Toy Sofa used the vibe as a standalone sex toy. He turned it onto the slow vibrations and used it around my vaginal lips and clitoris. This relaxed me and also turned me on. The fact that he was kissing my thighs and his left hand was stroking my body  may have helped!

We didn't need any lubricant as he had done a good job at making me wet. The top and bottom of the We-Vibe are wide with the connecting 'C' shape considerably thinner. I expected to feel the 'bulb' enter me as he gently pushed it into my vagina but I didn't feel a thing. Okay, that's a lie - I did feel it purely because of the vibrations

The beauty of the We-Vibe is that it's got two motors, one in each of the tips, which means you get a dedicated motor pleasuring your G-Spot and a dedicated one pleasuring your clitoris.

The internal vibrator offered a great feeling. I usually only get explosive orgasms when my G-Spot is pleasured (usually with Mr STS's finger) and my clitoris is pleasured at the same time (usually by his tongue). As the We-Vibe does both of these, I prepared for a great orgasm. I was surprised at how fast it made me pant - and that was on the slow setting!

To get the best out of it, Mr STS had to push the unit against my body. Perhaps with a bit more trial and error we could find a way of positioning it so this didn't have to happen, not that it caused any problems. He moved is body so that it pressed against my vagina leaving his hands free to squeeze my breasts and his lips free to kiss my neck. That in itself was a novelty as he has never been able to do this at the same time as giving me G-Spot and clitoral pleasure simultaneously.

As a vibrator, it really works at pleasuring the right spots. It's main selling point is as a vibrator that can be used during sex but I'm proof that it can be very successful as a standalone vibrator. I'd be very happy to nominate this as my desert island toy (i.e. what one toy would you take on a desert island if you could only have one?).

Using The We-Vibe During Sex

By this time, Mr STS had become wet himself and so I decided to let him in on the fun!

He put some lube on his penis and slid it inside me. I expected it to be a tight squeeze but there was plenty of room for both my favourite things

He looked like he was having a good time but I was more concerned about me. It felt amazing! It sounds bizarre but it's like masturbating with a rabbit vibrator where the vibrator is my man! The internal vibrator was rubbing my G-spot as he slid in and out but also rubbed against his penis, sending vibrations along that. This meant I could feel vibrations all along my vagina with concentrated vibrations on my G-Spot.

Instead of rabbit ears, the top of the We-Vibe took care of my clitoris. As he thrusted in and out, the We-Vibe was pressed more firmly against my clitoris. I spent most of the time screaming, shuddering and giggling. If ever there was too much pleasure, this was it! It was great at creating sensations I didn't know I could feel.

Then Mr STS changed all that. He switched it onto high! He started thrusting harder which drove me wild. I was screaming so much I did at one point wonder what the neighbours must have been thinking! But that thought was short lived as I orgasmed. I think I orgasmed about 6 times during sex, something I've never done before. If I'm lucky I'll get one orgasm but six - wow!!

He climaxed and held me tight as he was doing it, kissing my neck. He turned the vibe off and we cuddled, with his penis still throbbing away inside of me. I kissed him so much. That was the best night of passion we have had in a very long time.

Summary

Is It Any Good?

Good is an understatement. It's a great vibrator that on it's own made me climax in about 60 seconds. Use during sex for a new dimension that was certainly pleasurable for me. In all fairness, I will be using the We-Vibe more than my other toys now. That's a promise.

Who Is It Suited For?

Women who want to experience a body tingling orgasms using an obviously high quality adult sex toy. It's also for women who want more stimulation during sex or for women who want to add spice into their love making.

Do I 'Need' It?

Yes. The We-Vibe is nothing like I have ever tried before (and I've got 2 drawers full of toys). I didn't expect a lot from it but it over-delivered. It offers you new sensations and immense pleasure, both on it's own and during sex.

Should I 'Want' It?
